Explore Auke Bay with a Kayak!

Our rental fleet consists of single and double kayaks from Necky, Wilderness Systems, Current Designs, and Perception. Launch directly from our Auke Bay Location or transport our kayak on your vehicle to the launch point of your choosing. Foam Blocks, Straps, and Tie-down assistance available upon request, at no extra charge.

Rates

Single Kayak – Full Day: $60 (4-9 hours) Half Day: $50 for 4 hours or less

Double Kayak – Full Day: $80 (4-9 hours) Half Day: $70 for 4 hours or less

Discounted Rates for extended rental periods.
5% Local Sales Tax not included.

Minimum Age without Guardian: 16 years old ***Waiver needs to be signed and submitted to Rental Shop by Parent/Guardian before rental period.

Minimum Age with Parent/Guardian: 7 years old, 12 years old for rentals out on Mendenhall Lake accompanied by a parent/guardian

Some paddle areas require previous kayaking experience. All rental guests must know how to swim, participate in safety briefing prior to rental period, and sign a release of liability waiver.
Single Day or Half Day rental reservations that are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to reservation date will be issued a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 48 hours from reservation date. Multi-day rentals, water taxi, and kayak shuttle reservations that are cancelled at least 7 days before reservation date will also be refunded in full. No refunds will be issued for reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior to reservation date.
