Amalga Harbor Remote Kayak Rentals
The Alaska Boat & Kayak Rental shop has a small fleet of single and double kayaks available to rent near the Eagle Valley Center (EVC) in Amalga Harbor, located approximately 13 miles north of Auke Bay. Our kayaks are stored beach-side, just a short hike from the EVC parking lot. This remote site is not staffed and rental guests will need to haul the kayaks down to the beach and place back on rental rack when complete.
Self-Guided Paddling Destinations from Amalga Harbor include Boy Scout Beach, Peterson Creek, Gull Island, Bird Island, and Lincoln Island. Potential Wildlife: Salmon, Sea lions, Whales, and Eagles!
Easy Rates
Single Kayak – $60 per day
Double Kayak – $80 per day
5% Local Sales Tax not included.

Before departing for Amalga Harbor, rental guests must know how to swim and are required to participate in a safety briefing, sign a release of liability waiver, and pick up paddling accessories from our Auke Bay Rental Shop.
